This is Thomas Massie (R-KY)'s Christmas card. WWJD? Apparently he would not go gentle into that good night. An MIT engineer, the Massie's are grinning and bearing arms.

And today the "Patriot Front" marched in D.C.
This has been the grimmest week of my life in my hopes for our country.
Two days after the latest school massacre Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) posted this Christmas card with the message "P.S. Santa, please bring ammo".
Today a group of masked fascists calling themselves Patriot Front marched from the Lincoln Memorial - fascists wrapped in the American flag.
And Amy Coney Barrett of the conservative Catholic group People of Praise suggested that blocking abortions need not obstruct women from pursuing their life missions since they could simply drop off the infant at the local ER or precinct and relinquish parental rights, apparently oblivious to the interests of the fathers.
With the Senate, Scotus, and people like this I am more discouraged about this country than I have ever been.
