The federal judiciary is an island of irresponsibility. Title VII does not apply to protect workers from sexual harassment. Notorious actors like former judge Alex Kosinski evaded investigation because he resigned. Bret Kavanaugh avoided investigation because he was no longer a judge when he became an Associate Justice - not even subject to the Code of Conduct of United States Judges. In a pending Fourth Circuit case a group of current and former employees of the federal judiciary recount in an amicus brief that they have been subject to sexual and other harassment and discrimination but are without effective remedy. But despite such reports Chief Justice John Roberts presses for Congressional and other hands to be kept off the federal judiciary. - GWC
