This by the Haaretz Occupied Territories reporter is the sort of rant that is unpublishable in major media here. But it is literally true. The occupation of the West Bank and the encirclement of Gaza can be and are maintained only by force. Palestinians attack Israelis not because they are Jews but because they are occupiers and oppressors. Of course anger spurs all sorts of vile expression - but the underlying cause remains the occupation. -gwc
