ForAmerica

This Tea Party group reports a California school barred wearing American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo.  (Such a measure is obviously to prevent fights not to "ban" the American flag.)   Their Facebook page protest has 400,000 likes, 200,000 shares, and 34,000 comments.  The great bulk of the comments are of the go back to Mexico sort.  Frankly I just don't understand the hostility of white Americans.  Go back to Mexico?  Why is it called California? Los Angeles? San Francisco? Arizona?
If the shoe had been on the other foot and Alabama became  Juarez, and Mississippi Santo Domingo how long  would it take before white Americans agreed that they don't belong here and should go back to Scotland, Ireland, and England?
And for that matter wouldn't it have been better if Mexico had won the war? After all - we started it because the Guerrero Decree of 1829 had abolished slavery and the Texas settlers wanted to preserve their "way of life"including the right to own slaves. - gwc

Photo: Unbelievable: A California school has banned American flag t-shirts on Cinco de Mayo (and a federal court upheld the ban) because it could offend Mexican students. We don’t know about you, but we believe the American flag should be allowed everywhere in the United States!
