U.S. Subpoenas Port Authority Records Tied to Chairman, a Christie Ally - NYTimes.com

Update: The subpoenaes have been withdrawn reports the Bergen Record.  Sounds like a turf war.  Why would the Southern District stick its nose into what has been the District of New Jersey's case? - gwc
A couple of weeks back Patrick Foye - Executive Director of the bi-state Port Authority - who is a lawyer said that former New Jersey Attorney General David Samson lacked the moral authority to be chairman of the huge agency which runs the three airports and the New Jersey - New York bridge and tunnels.  It is fair to assume that Foye, a Cuomo appointee - would not casually make such a remark.  It certainly pointed the U.S. Attorney in a direction that involves weightier matters than the three day dirty-trick of the GW Bridgegate. - gwc
