Super Bowl weekend spoiled for Chris Christie

Super Bowl weekend in New Jersey figured to be a triumphant moment for its attention-loving Governor who has attended many Bruce Springsteen concerts at that venue in the Hackensack River meadowlands. But instead he has been swamped by more details and allegations arising from the punitive traffic jam his office ordered.
"Evidence exists" that Gov. Chris Christie knew of the allegedly retaliatory lane closings says David Wildstein, the Port Authority executive who ordered the creation of a traffic jam at the entrance to the George Washington Bridge in September 2013.  The Christie camp responded today with allegations that "David Wildstein will do and say anything to save David Wildstein".  He has been like that since he was young man according to a memo circulated by the Governor's Office yesterday which appeared in Politico.  Christie, after an initial response that minimized the assertions by Wildstein has now gone into attack mode, something more like the hot-headed man we have come to know.
